Privacy policy

What this site collects. Nothing is sent anywhere. This site loads no third-party scripts at all — no advertising, no trackers, no analytics, not even external fonts. There is nothing here reporting your visit to anyone else.

What is stored on your device. Two things at most, and only one of them without asking.

• Strictly necessary — cc_cookie. The record of your cookie choice, so we do not ask again on every page. Without it there is no way to honour a refusal. It expires after six months, at which point we ask again.
• Functional — sc-intro-seen. Remembers that you have watched the intro film, so the homepage stops routing you to it. Stored in your browser only, never transmitted. Only written if you allow it. If you decline, the intro simply stays available from the navigation and nothing is stored.

Analytics. There is none today. A category for it exists in the cookie settings so that if analytics is ever added, it is blocked from running until you have agreed — rather than switched on and disclosed afterwards.

Changing your mind. Use Cookie settings, in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and turning off functional storage deletes what it had already stored.

Email. If you contact us at hello@startupcollective.co, we use your message and address only to reply to you. We do not add you to mailing lists and we do not share your details.

Media preferences. The site respects your operating-system preferences (reduced motion, data saver, low-power mode) to decide how much media to load. These signals are read locally in your browser and never transmitted.
