In the foundry, quality is a department with a door every venture must walk through. Test tunnels, device walls, evaluation chambers: the metaphor is physical because the commitment is physical. There is no route from engineering to launch that bypasses assurance.

AI raises the stakes. A conventional bug is deterministic; you can find it, fix it, and prove it fixed. Intelligent systems fail probabilistically — an agent that behaves impeccably in nine hundred runs and embarrasses you in the thousandth. Testing that reality demands evaluation as a discipline: behavioural suites, adversarial prompts, regression evidence that accumulates over time.

That is why EngynQA exists — first as our own internal necessity, then as a venture in its own right. The discipline we needed to ship AI products with confidence turned out to be a product other builders need too.
